John Hope died on 14th October 1965 at the General Hospital, Southend-on-Sea. Cause of Death: Pneumonia and a fracture, due to being knocked down by an oncoming motor car. An inquest was held on 4th November 1965, with a verdict of accidental death. His death was registered on 5th November 1965. Residence at time of death: Flat D, 4 Argyle House, Seaforth Road, Westcliff-on-Sea. Occupation: Retired Traveller (Salesman).
