Additional: This is my Grandfather's family in 1940. His eldest daughter, who was barely a year when he went off to England for his enlistment, is noted within his house as a married woman with her husband and two eldest children.

Additional: Harold Howard is my Grandfather, his service record states he was CQS of Coy A 22nd Manchester’s Regiment from March - June 1915 which dictates the time frame of this picture and possibly as well as many other 22nd Manchester’s Regimental pictures. I found much information at TheManchesters.org website — regimental photos with lists of soldiers names and service numbers. Collating information gleaned there with that found here at Lives of the First World War, has led me to the identification of Howard Wilcox in this photo specifically due to the memorial I found here by a descendant of his.
