Desborough Scrapbook, Issue 118, Dec 2015, p 21 Week ending 24th December 1915 BROTHERS MISSING Disappearance of Desborough Lads at Loos The three boys whose photographs we reproduce above are sons of Mrs Keech, of The Hermitage, Desborough, two of whom, Pte. D. F. Keech and Pte. B. R. Keech, of “D” Company 7th Northants, have been missing since the Battle of Loos. No reliable news of them has since been received and their mother is naturally very anxious about them. A comrade now in hospital writes that both boys went safely through the first two days of the fight, but as he was wounded on the 27th September he saw nothing more of them. The eldest son, who is in the St John Ambulance Brigade, manages his mother’s farm at Desborough. Any information should be forwarded either to him or to Mrs Keech. Standing: Pte. Donald F.
