Title: Private Edward Kerry, 726. 2nd Bn. London Regiment

Description: Private Edward Kerry, 726. 2nd Bn. London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers.) He died the 12th of May 1916 of Diabetes as a result of shell shock from explosions on active service: Aged 24. Previously employed by the Works Department of Westminster Council. When War broke out in August 1914, Suffolk, Edward was serving in a Territorial Regiment and called up; serving time in Malta, and then being posted to France in January of 1915, where he remained until the end of that year, being invalided back to Colchester . Son of Mrs Amelia Goodwin, of The Maltings, Wattisfield, Suffolk.
