Week ending 18th June 1915 A DESBOROUGH CHAPLAIN The Vicar Leaves for the Front The Vicar of Desborough recently volun - teered as an Army Chaplain and, having been accepted by the Chaplain-General, left Desborough on Tuesday and embarked for “Somewhere in France” on Wednesday. The reverend gentleman has rendered himself very popular during his residence in Des - borough and the inhabitants gave a real Desborian send-off to their khaki-clad Vicar on Tuesday. We hope to be able to publish some of the Chaplain’s experiences at the front in coming issues.
