Title: Robert (Bob) Charles Fluck

Additional: Bob Fluck was my grandmother's (Edith Frances Fluck) youngest brother. He was born on 14 December 1898 at 'Woodville', Stanley Road, Worcester, the home of his parents Frederick Fluck (lll) electrical engineer, and Ellen (nee Arkwell) Fluck. The family moved to Wellingore, Lincs (between 1902-4). In 1906, when Bob was 17 years old, he joined the Royal Flying Corps. He survived the war. He was engaged to Corona Thompson of Wellingore, but before they could marry he died from tuberculosis peritonitis, on 27 Oct 1924, age 25, at the County Hospital Lincoln. He is buried at All Saints' Church, Wellingore. His brothers Ernest, William and Anthony Fluck also served in the First World War and all three survived.
