Welsh Book of RemembranceThe Welsh Book of Remembrance is a beautifully decorated volume containing the names of around 35,000 men and women of Welsh birth and parentage and also those who served with Welsh Regiments who lost their lives during the First World War. To reflect the fact that most of the men and women named in the Book died in Belgium or France the glass casing is French and the marble pedestal is Belgian. The Book is held in the Crypt at the Temple of Peace in Cardiff.Contributed by:
