According to inscription on back of photo card that was printed in Bangalore, India Shows C Barker, F Marshall, H Kershaw, W Armstrong, H Landless, J H Pickup outside the YMCA ( probably in Bangalore) it is dated February 1918 and they are " The Old 14th"

According to inscription on back of photo card that was printed in Bangalore, India Shows C Barker, F Marshall, H Kershaw, W Armstrong, H Landless, J H Pickup outside the YMCA ( probably in Bangalore) it is dated February 1918 and they are " The Old 14th"

The Old 14th (14th Batallion South Lancashire's ) It is surmised that the photo shows a group of the "old 14th" who had been drafted to the parent unit (1st Btn South Lancs who remained in India the whole war) and were possibly at Hebban Camp in Bangalore (?South India).
