George and Margaret wedding dayGeorge Armstrong Newton wedding day marrying Margaret, they had 4 children, Ada, Arthur, Jack and George. George (my father) was born shortly before his father was killed and never saw him. Jack died before reaching his teens. Both Arthur and George fought in the second world war and both in later life received an OBE, both dying within 6 months of investiture.
