George Newland in Littlemore Hospital BandGeorge Ernest Newland was the pianist in the Littlemore Hospital Band prior to him serving with the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry in July 1916.Contributed by:

George Newland on Bull Nose Morris line, Oxford.After being injured in 1917 George was unable to work at Littlemore Hospital. He was sent to Birmingham for retraining as an electrician. He worked on house installations then later at Cowley, on the assembly line. He is standing next to the steering wheel of the second car back. I am guessing the date but it is about 1923.Contributed by:
