Date of Death: July 21st /16. Place where killed or injury received: France. Remarks: Private Billsborough, who joined the colours at the commencement of hostilities, was the younger of the two sons (both having answered the call of King & Country) of Mr & Mrs William Billsborough 17 Chaddock St, Preston, and was a grandson of the late Councillor Daniel Ashcroft.
