Marriage of A. E. Rackstraw & Minnie HollandGov't certificate for marriage of Albert Edward Rackstraw & Minnie Holland on 25 March 1912 at parish church of Shirburn, Oxfordshire after Banns by John W. B. Bell, Vicar of Pyrton. Witnesses were Agnes Holland and John Holland, Minnie's sister and brother. Albert's profession was a Lance Corporal with the Oxford Light Infantry. They were married by the Church of England. Albert lists his father as Albert Edward Rackstraw (deceased), which is incorrect, but he didn't have the correct information until he requested his birth certificate when he retired.Contributed by:

In memory of Albert Edward & Minnie RackstrawThis memorial stone in the cemetery adjoining St. Mary the Virgin Church of England was recently added by descendants of Albert and Minnie Rackstraw, which explains its newness. This was the church Albert attended whenever he was able and Minnie moved into the adjoining Alms Houses after his death. She was a parishioner at the Kidlington Methodist chapel on the Oxford to Banbury Road. In death they are united.Contributed by:
