Gravestone in Penuel Chapel graveyard, PentyrchThe family gravestone in the Chapel graveyard commemorates Christmas along with his parents William John and Annie, and his brother John, who died in infancy. Unfortunately the lettering is now difficult to read and the stone has been laid flat, but I noted the inscription in 1984, when it was still legible: "Also of Christmas Jacob their beloved son, killed in action in France 26th August 1918 aged 18."Contributed by:
