Medal CardFrom Ancestry.co.uk. Very little of this information was transcribed on the original addition of the Medal Index Card. The whole image reveals Name, Rank, Number, Regiment, Medals & the difficulty in eventually dispatching them. His mother had moved from Snetterton to the neighbouring village of Kenninghall, but she died in Jan 1922. By 1924 his brother Arthur was in Perthshire. It would appear that Jame's medals were sent to him 8 December 1924.Contributed by:

Mother's GravestoneCatherine Alston died in 1922 at the foot of her gravestone is inscribed "Also of JAMES, her son killed in Arras, France, April 23, 1917, aged 26 years. HIS DUTY DONE'Contributed by:
