Photo with 2nd Lieutenant J.G. ScoularThis photo has 2nd Lieutenant John Greenshields Scoular sitting on the left next to Captain James Donaldson in the center. 2nd Lieutenant Scoular was in the 7th Battalion with Captain James Donaldson. They both left the 7th Battalion and went to the 9th Battalion Black Watch and joined on the same day 11th May 1917." On 27th June of 1917 the 9th Battalion were at Toronto Camp near Ypres France. This information is in the 3 volume set "The History of the Black Watch Royal Highlanders 1914 -1918.
