The Knutsford Centennial War MemorialIn 2014 Knutsford Town Council decided to establish a Centennial War Memorial in the centre of the town as the key component of their commemorative events to mark the Centenary of the end of the First World War in 2018. Private George Shaw is one of the men commemorated on the memorial which was dedicated on the 6th October 2018
