Death: 31 December 1914 Killed at Guinchy near La Bassee Western Front. Son of the Rev. James Silvester, M.A., and Constance Silvester, of The Vicarage, Great Clacton, Essex. CWGC has date of death as 31 December 1914. Buried at Cuinchy Communal Cemetery. Head portrait press cutting.
