Title: Army LS and GC Medal - George V – 2nd type

Description: Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal - George V – This has a 2nd type (fixed) suspender, and crimson ribbon with white borders, 1920-1930. Although the second type of suspender was introduced in 1920, they were not issued until stocks of the original first type of suspender had been exhausted. The ball between both suspender arms is completely spherical. On the first (swivelling) suspender, the top of the ball has a little cap (which is the top of the pin around which the suspender revolves).
