Fred Staniland and six comradesThis postcard was taken just after he arrived in France. They had it taken to send back to their families. I presume they clubbed together for the cost.

Somewhere in FranceFred Staniland (left) with fellow patient W.F. Shepherdson. I think this may both have been at a field hospital in Rouen. My Grandfather (F. Staniland) had lost the end of a finger (he claimed) to machine gun fire.Contributed by:
