Horace Cecil Streeton, Sep 12 1914Horace Cecil Streeton enlisted at Whitehall with the 13th Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consort's Own) on Sep 12 1914 - the day this photo was taken. He was sent to France in July 1915. He held the rank of Sergeant with the Rifle Brigade, 13th Battalion, service number Z/2742. He was awarded the MM in July 1916 and the ribbon was pinned on in France by General Horne K.C.B. Horace was killed in action on Aug 2nd 1917 in Belgium and was buried in Derry House Cemetery No. 2, Wytschaete, West Flanders, Belgium.
