George Edward Bowhay's gravestoneGeorge Edward Bowhay and his second wife Harriet Ellen are buried in the churchyard at South Milton, Devon. A tablet in memory of their only son, William, who died in the Second World War, is at the base of the headstone. Harriet Ellen Bowhay's first husband, Harold Brinkworth, was killed in the First World War.
