Family Grave at St Annes-on-Sea Parish ChurchWilliam is remembered on the grave of his parents, William & Maud, his sisters Evelina Margaret Ledward and Eileen Maud Burgess, and his brother-in-law, Percy Pierpoint Burgess. The MI records that William, Captain in the Lancashire Fusiliers, died of wounds received in action on 27/8/1917 aged 33 and is buried at Zuydcoote Cemetery, Flanders. He was second son of his parents and husband to Kate Marion Terry.
