Gert Stan and HarryThis is the oldest photograph I have of Harry, my grandfather. I do not have any of his time in WW1. This is wife Gert and son (my father) Stan. I would guess this is early 1930s as dad was born in 1922. I have no idea where it was taken.

Later in lifeThis picture of Harry will have been taken in the 1950s with wife Gert in the centre rear. As we look at the picture to the right of Gert is my other grandmother Rhoda Smith (nee Bennett) who lost her first husband in WW1. The other two ladies are Rhoda's sisters - Amy John in the Foreground and Constance Reynolds between harry and Gert. You can just see Constance's husband Bertram behind Harry.Contributed by:

MGC Medal rollThis is a copy of the relevant page of the medal roll book containing evidence that Harry was entitled to the British War and Victory medals, and which also tells us that he was disembodied (discharged) on 23/5/1919. Sadly I do not have the medalsContributed by:
