Towner Close, Charing, KentIn 2017 Towner Close was named by Charing Parish Council in honour of the three Towner brothers who died in the First World War: (John) Edgar Towner d 20/11/14, Christopher Charles Towner d 15/9/18 and Herbert Norris Towner d 15/11/18. Towner Close is on an estate named 'Poppyfields' at the suggestion of Charing primary school.Contributed by:
