Thomas Warr, RE, with his wife and sistersThomas Warr (b. 1882) with wife Gertrude (nee Tedham) and his sisters Nellie Clara (b. 1892) and Ethel Emily Warr (b.1889). This photograph was, I believe, taken on 2nd March 1918 when Thomas married Gertrude in Begbroke, Oxfordshire. Aged 35, the Marriage Certificate describes him as a lance-Corporal in the Royal Engineers.The rear of the image is inscribed “With Love from Tom and Gertie”.
