Title: Army LS and GC Medal - George V

Description: Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal - George V. The crimson ribbon with white borders is for awards made from 1917 onwards. Although the second type of suspender was introduced in 1920, they were not issued until stocks of the original first type of suspender had been exhausted. The ball between both suspender arms is completely spherical on the second type. On the first (swivelling) suspender, the top of the ball has a little cap (which is the top of the pin around which the suspender revolves).
