Title: Elizabeth and Richard - Spring 1916

Description: Our Great Grandparents Richard and Elizabeth Howard. This photograph was taken 5 months before Richard was killed in action at Falfemont Farm (Battle of Guillemont, The Somme) on 3rd September 1916. It was after this that Lizzie left their baby son with Richard's younger sister and she joined the VAD's from 1916 to 1920.

Title: Annie Handley, VAD nurse at Le Treport

Description: Annie Handley was a VAD nurse who was working at No 3 Gen Hosp, Le Treport between 26 Feb 1917 and 26 Jan 1918, so she would have been a colleague of Elizabeth Howard's. I would like to ask if she could be added to the Le Treport community: and I cannot see a way of contacting the community administrator directly.
