War diary entry about his deathAbout midnight on the 2nd/3rd he was killed by a sniper in a sap at the Morteldje Estaminet. This was a very sad affair, as he was a very young and promising boy, who was in the trenches for the 1st time. He was quite one of the best of the Argylle and Sutherland officers.Contributed by:
