Frank 'Stan' CarpenterSurvived WWI but went down on HMS Courageous in WW2. Family photo (he was my Nan's Uncle). My Nan still has a photo of him up in her room which she puts a poppy by each November. His war record is on the National Archives website and he's listed on the Plymouth Naval memorial. His first training ship was HMS Vivid I at Devonport.
