Additional: Previous information added to this site is for the WRONG John Butler!John was actually born to John Arthur Butler, and Frances (nee Perks).His father John Arthur died in 1904.His younger sister Maud Mary Butler (my Grandmother) had married William Henry Black in 1908.WW1 was particularly grim for Maud Mary, as in 1914 on the Good Hope she lost the brother John (aka Jack) that looked after her after their father died, and then in 1915 lost her husband William Henry Black, fighting in Gallipoli.I'm only going to leave this one note on this site.But maybe, the persons responsible for adding all the "wrong person" facts may check things out a little better, and remove all their "facts".All the navy records show "my" great grandmother's name and address as the next of kin Stoker John gave. They could also get a birth certificate copy of "their" john to see he wasn't born 9 Dec 1884!
