Alfred's sister Doris Mabel Degg (1901-1966)Alfred's family owned a garage in the centre of Rugeley called Degg's Garage. He had three sisters and two brothers and one of his sisters, Doris, was driving the family's cars from an early age. Doris married William Arthur Parker in 1923 (https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/6825895).
