It is a receipt that I paid for to receive the death certificate for my Grandfather Joseph Thomas Stewart Barker

It shows at the bottom of the page the list of four children born to Joseph Thomas Stewart Barker and Mary Theresa Barker his wife. It is clear to anyone viewing this list, that although the date of his birth is surprisingly missing, there is such a similarity of names that they must be the one family. Stewart was a family name and each child had it including my Mother Anne Stewart Barker. She knew his birth date and was close to her brother through all his life. He was the favourite of the family.

This is the cover of a book of postcards that my Grandfather sent to my Grandmother from Cairo in Egypt at the start of his campaign. Please note in a photograph of his letter to her that he calls he Mary NOT Kathleen. She kept it for her life until the end.
