Private Tucker had no known grave following the Battle of Fromelles in 1916, but excavations in 2009 and subsequent DNA testing ascertained his identity. Re-buried during 2010.

Private William Charles Tucker of the AIF.Private Tucker served with the Australian Infantry in France and fell at Fromelles in 1916. Now re-buried with his comrades in Pheasant Wood Military Cemetery, Fromelles.
