Memorial Service leafletMemorial Service leaflet A Memorial Service was held in the Churchyard of the Parish Church in Audley on 31st August 1919, "in memory of 155 Miners and a Rescuer who lost their lives in the Minnie Pit disaster, Jan 12th, 1918". An accompanying leaflet was produced listing the order of service, a letter of sympathy from the Bishop of Lichfield, and a list of the dead men. For each victim, the list included name, age, abode, date of burial, and burial place.Contributed by:
