Gravestone, St Mary's Hunstanton, NorfolkBirth Reg. Q2 1878, Pembroke District; Dudley George Griffiths, Censuses say born Pembroke. Parents George Llewhellin [sic], wine & spirits merchant, & Edith Annie nee Thomas m.1875. Dudley was the second of their known children, his siblings were; Hedley Charles, Neville Llewhellin, Osborne William, Lilian Gladys A & Leslie John. Census records; 1881, Main Street, Pembroke, Dudley, aged 2 was with his brothers Hedley & Neville & 2 servants, his parents were in Llawhaden, visitors of the Lewis family. 1891; 78 Main Street, Pembroke, Dudley, aged 12, was with his parents, 4 younger siblings, a Governess & 2 servants. His father died 6 December 1891 & his mother remarried in 1893 (Thomas Pagett) she died 13 December 1894. I could not trace Dudley in 1901.
