Gravestone, St Mary's Churchyard, Watton, NFK.Birth Reg. Q3 1863, George Rhole Drew. Baptised George Ruel Drew in Watton Church, Norfolk 31 Jan. 1864, born 25 Aug. 1863. He was the eldest of 6 children of George, a groom, & Henrietta, nee Dalton. He & his siblings were all born in Watton, one had died by 1911. On Census day 1881 George was a Farm Labourer. I could not find him on another Census until 1911, Watton Road, Merton, Norfolk aged 44 (actually 47), farm labourer, with ‘wife’ Jessie 33, married 8years, had 5 children, 2 had died. They did not marry until 1917.
