The doctor who treated my Grandfather refused to believe that he suffered because of damage to his lungs from mustard gas poisoning. He eventually died from the damage he sustained, when he suffered a severe bleed.

Additional: This shows that my paternal grandfather was 5'4" tall aged 17 years and 9 months. slender build as chest measured 32"- 34". Complexion Fresh, eyes brown and hair black, Height or lack of it is surprising as my father was nearly 6' tall. The heights of his 4 brothers who survived childhood, did vary but they were mostly quite tall for the time.
