Transcription: Name: Atkinson, Thomas, Address: 42 Everton Gardens, Occupation: Fitter and turner, Regiment: L.N.L., Rank and Regiment Number: Pte, 10th Batt, No. 14000, Date of Death: July 12th. 1916, Place where killed or injury received: France. Remarks :- Pte T. Atkinson died of wounds received in Action during the bombardment. He lost his right leg, but died later in the University Hospital, Southampton.
