Patrick Hallissy was Born in Claddanure Kenmare Co Kerry the son of Andrew and Margaret (Sullivan) Hallissy on 4th July 1889. Patrick was the oldest of eight children and emigrated to USA on 8th April 1909. He lived in Minoa New York also his sister Mary Hallissy resident in 77 5th Street Long Island City NewYork. his occupation on enlistment Brakeman and enlisted in Toranto Canada on 16th March 1918. He served in France with the 1st Canadian Ontario Regiment 2nd Dpo Bn. He was wounded in Action Gun Shot wound right Thigh and died of his wounds on 14.January 1919. Age 30 Buried in Terlincthun British Cemetery Wimille XIII.A.12.
