Thomas Edwin Andrews

Thomas Edwin Andrews was born in Petworth, Sussex in 1895. His parents had seven sons, two died in WW1, and one daughter. Thomas worked as a Farm Labourer in 1911. His father had died in 1912. He enlisted in Portsmouth, Hampshire into The Royal Horse Artillery And Royal Field Artillery as a Gunner. He died at home in Bishops Waltham, Hampshire on the 20th February 1915 and lies in St Peter’s Churchyard, Bishops Waltham. His Grave Inscription reads ‘In Loving Memory Of My Dear Son Gone But Not Forgotten’. His brother Frederick Charles died fifteen months later.
