WAR OFFICE REPORT

known 11th March 1916

Labour Voice: COLBREN Last week the sad news reached Colbren that Richard Morgan, a native of this place, a very kind and quiet young man, and a great favourite, had sacrificed his life for his country. Information was received from the War Office that he had died of wounds. He was the first of the old boys from Colbren Council School to make the full sacrifice. The sympathy of the whole village goes out to his sisters and other relatives in their sad bereavement
