Lives of the First World War

Wallace and other men from Swinefleet and the surrounding area of Reedness, and Whitgift, who served in WW1 are commemorated in the book Swinefleet & District Roll of Honour. The book includes many photographs and details of the lives and families of the 260 men commemorated. The men from the Merchant Navy, who are usually forgotten, are also included. Favourable reviews of the book have been received from not only the U.K., but also from France, Germany, Australia, Canada and the United States.
