Labour Voice: YSTRADGYNLAIS NOTES Official intimation has been received that Private Frank Phibben was killed in France on 22nd April. He had been in the army for three years and saw service at the Dardanelles. He leaves a widow, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams, Penrhos, and three young children, to mourn their loss. Private Phibben was a faithful member and Sunday school worker at the English Congregational Church where he will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held next Sunday evening, when the Rev. Edward Vaughan will officiate.
