Born 29 July 1883 in Liverpool. Killed in action in France 17 June 1918. Buried in Couin New British Cemetery, France. Served with 2nd/6th Battalion, King's Liverpool Regiment. Married Edith Alice Kibbey 25 October 1911 in Liverpool. They had two children: Edith Alice, born 8 Aug 1912 and John Edward, born 15 Jan 1915.
