15th June 1916
The clock was put forward one hour at 11.pm on the night 14th/15th. The morning was very quiet. In the afternoon we had a bombardment with French Mortar (Stokes Gun) and Rifle Grenades. The enemy promptly retaliated and fired a great number of grenades at our right trench (B. Coy) but inflicted no casualties. At 8.30 pm a number of shells were fired on the high front to the left of our line. Casualties for the day. O.R. 1 killed.
