Lives of the First World War

Text of article: Private D. McArthur (2nd Seaforth Highlanders), one of the inmates of Builth Red Cross Hospital, recently received intimation from the Major General Commanding the 4th Division of the British Expeditionary Force to the following effect :—"Your Commanding Officer and Brigade Commander have informed me that you have distinguished yourself by conspicuous bravery in the field. I have read their report with pleasure. H. F. H. Wilson, Major General Commanding 4th Division."
