Lives of the First World War

Louis Spencer died of mylitis. I have all his naval records, cap ribbon from HMS Juno and letters to his mother, my great grandmother on his death. He also served on the Ganges & the Agamemmnon. My grandfather told me how he saved a mans life, by diving into a dock between the ships to rescue a drowning man. Uncle Lou was an excellent swimmer, but picked up mylitis & died. The man he saved lived!
