Pvt Edward Taylor 21176 9th Battalion KOYLI KIA 27th Sept 1918 in France, aged 24. Son of George and Elizabeth Taylor of Lakes Square, South Hiendley. Lakes Buildings (known locally as the 'Lump') was located where Braemer Croft now stands. Awarded the 1914/15 Star along with the Victory and British War medals. Also commemorated on the Loos Memorial, Panel 97 and 98.
