Who was He?

4934, Rifleman Adam Craig, 12th Royal Irish Rifles, was KIA on August 15th, 1917, and he is named on the Menin Gate; he was aged 35 years at time of death. He had been born in Ahoghill and he enlisted in Ballymena. He was the son of Adam and Elizabeth Craig, and his wife Jane and family of five lived at Bridge End, Galgorm. He is commemorated in Cullybackey UF Church.
