Mr. John McDonough, of Suttontown, has received advice that his youngestson, Dvr. Thomas McDonough, had died at Albany on the 5th inst., on his way back, as a disabled soldier to Mount Gambler. He had been gassed in France, and on the voyage home, three days before he reached Albany, he contracted septic pneumonia. He was landed at Albany, where he died. He was attached to the 1st Divisional Ammunition Column of the Australian Artillery.
